Relievv is operated by Relievv Automation, D-183, Street No. 3, Mandoli Extension, Delhi – 110093, India ("Relievv", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Relievv provides software for accountants, Chartered Accountants and businesses to convert bank statements and purchase/expense bills into accounting entries and post them to Tally and Zoho Books, along with stand-alone utility tools.
For the personal data covered by this policy, Relievv acts as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). Where you upload documents that contain personal data of your own clients, vendors or employees, you decide why that data is processed and Relievv processes it on your instructions, solely to provide the service to you.

3. What we collect
3.1 Information you give us
- Account details: name, email address, mobile number, firm name, designation, password (stored only as a one-way hash) or Google sign-in identifier.
- Business details: client names, address, state, GSTIN and PAN (optional), Tally company names and Zoho Books organisation details you connect.
- Documents and their contents: bank statements, purchase and expense bills, Excel/CSV files and tax forms you upload or send us by WhatsApp or email, and the transactions, vendor details, ledger names, GST and TDS figures read from them.
- Chart of accounts and settings: ledgers, stock items, voucher types and rules you create or sync from Tally / Zoho Books.
- Payments: plan, invoices and payment status. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on the payment gateway's own page; Relievv never sees or stores your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
- Support and contact: messages, screenshots and attachments you send to our support team.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, date and time of access, pages viewed and error logs.
- Usage data: number of entries and statement pages processed (to apply your plan allowance), feature usage, and sync results with the Relievv Tally Connector.
- Cookies: see our Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies are used only with your consent.
3.3 Information from others
- GSTIN details (legal name, trade name, address, registration status) fetched from GST verification services when you look up a vendor.
- Documents forwarded to your Relievv WhatsApp number or Relievv documents email address by people you have authorised.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use the contents of your documents to train machine-learning models, and our document-reading service providers are contractually or by their published terms not permitted to train their models on your data.

We share data only with service providers who help us run Relievv, only to the extent needed, and under confidentiality and security obligations:

We may also disclose data where required by law, court order or a government authority, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and Relievv. If Relievv's business is transferred or merged, data may move to the successor, who will be bound by this policy.
Some providers may process data outside India. Where this happens we rely on providers that offer appropriate safeguards, and we will follow any restrictions the Government of India notifies under Section 16 of the DPDP Act.
6. How long we keep it

7. How we protect it
- Encryption of data in transit with SSL/TLS on all Relievv domains.
- Passwords stored as one-way hashes; sensitive connection tokens stored encrypted.
- Access to production data limited to authorised personnel, with two-factor authentication for our admin panel and an audit log of admin actions.
- Automatic deletion of uploaded source files after processing.
- Regular backups of account data with restricted access.
No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected users and the Data Protection Board of India as required by the DPDP Act and the DPDP Rules, 2025.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access a summary of your personal data we process and the processing activities.
- Correct, complete or update your personal data, most of it directly from My Profile and Settings.
- Erase your personal data (account deletion), subject to records we must keep by law.
- Withdraw consent at any time (for example, for marketing or analytics cookies). This does not affect processing already done.
- Grievance redressal: raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
To use any of these rights, email info@relievv.in from your registered email address. We acknowledge requests within 24 hours and respond within 7 days, or sooner where the law requires.

9. Children
Relievv is meant for professionals and businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect children's personal data.

We will post any changes on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and notify you by email or in the app for significant changes.
